Paramina Paintball recognises the need for custom compressed air systems and is using its expertise to develop a market leading range of both custom designed, and off-the-peg air systems and accessories, to ensure that your requirements are met, enabling you to provide your customers safely and efficiently with high pressure air.

2006 saw the launch of Paramina Paintball, designed to specialise in the development of systems specifically designed to meet the requirements of the paintball industry. Despite it’s recent launch date of April, months of prior planning and consultation with UK paintball sites and players, had enabled Paramina Paintball to develop and hone its existing range of compressors and compressed air systems, ensuring they met the needs of their new market.

Paramina PowerStation 440

Mid April 2006 saw the manufacture and delivery of Paramina Paintball’s flagship and innovative “PowerStation 440” trailer system to South West Paintball Ltd. The first system of its type supplied to a UK customer, this easily towable unit delivers 440litres of air per minute, and comprises of two state of the art electric-start diesel compressors coupled to a four cylinder storage bank system, allowing an all-day supply of high pressure air for tournament players. This system can supply 81,600 litres of air at any one time if required & can generate a further 26,400 litre per hour!

Paramina Paintball recognises that not all of our customers require such a comprehensive system, and currently under development is a 100 litre per minute compressor system incorporating two storage cylinders in a lightweight trailer. Again we will be using the ever reliable diesel engine and we will be the first manufacturer to use one on such a small compressor. We believe that this will prove to be ideal for smaller sites, and are confident that this will become a value for money bestseller! Initial thoughts are that either this diesel powered machine or the lower cost petrol option will offer an unbeatable combination for the smaller site operating on a budget!

At an early stage, company policy was set that no compromise was to be made on quality. Key to success is the use of quality materials. Custom designed filling panels are all manufactured from robust and rust-free, marine quality stainless steel. These are designed to withstand the outdoor environment, and in ten years time, will still look just as good as on the day they were first installed! All pipework installed by Paramina Paintball is marine grade stainless steel. Only gas tight stainless steel double ferrule fittings are used to ensure trouble free, low maintenance systems.

In line with this policy, having researched and examined a number of trailers we believe that a quality trailer is an essential component in the successful manufacture of a towable compressed air system. The Ifor Williams name is a byword for quality in trailer manufacture. Having examined the quality of these trailers, Paramina Paintball decided that all of their trailer systems would be constructed on Ifor Williams trailers. We believe that this decision emphasises and reinforces the ethos and quality of our company products.

Innovation and safety are key issues. Paramina Paintball continues to develop its own exclusive range of safety couplings and low volume hoses. High-pressure air is potentially dangerous. Our experience of the offshore dive industry has allowed us to develop the Paramina Paintball safety coupling and safety hose. Until now, the prospect of a hose rupturing in the vicinity of a player was a potentially catastrophic incident. Our fittings not only reduce the incidence of improper connection to the guns, but also ensure that in the unlikely event of hose rupture, or connection failure, that risk of injury to staff or players will be non-existant.

Paramina Paintball can also offer a specialist service to upgrade or replace your existing system, giving an opportunity to replace or add components as required, without having to resort to the unnecessary expense of replacing still-serviceable components. We happily give quality, impartial advice. If this advice saves you money, and perhaps makes us money, then that’s all the better for both of us!
